PROUD BLACK CHILD
be a proud black child in your heart and spirit sound your trumpet loud for the whole world to hear it.
concrete your ground and make it strong show this world that you do belong.
concrete your ground and make it strong show this world that you do belong
Be a proud black child and pland yourself as a garden seed not as a wild flower or a tasteless weed
Be a proud black child and support your brother give him a hand like you would any other
let not jealous and envy stand in your way just remember with God we all have a chance some day
to be what we want to be who we are like all the rest we are the best a shooting, shinning star
Be a proud black child in all your glory and honor educate yourself so your mind does not ponder
does not ponder on the weak and wicked ways of this life
even though they may be deisreable even though they may be in sight
be a proud black child and hold your head up high
no one can put you down let you down or help you to die
It's all your doing it's all in your hands only you can make things happen only you can make a stand!!!!

| The Ultimate Achiever
the ultimate achiever is not a dreamer but a believer a beliver in ones self
to take an idea and make it real convience others to feel the excitement is truly an acheivement within itself
the ultimate achiever is willing to sacrifice his pride his sanity his good name for he has that buring desire to succeed and grasp his fortune and fame
the ultimate achiever knows that he will suffer ridicule be laughed at and poked fun but that doesn't prohibit him from trying because he knows his race will soon be won
the ultimate achiever is somethimes mis-diagnosed as crazy or insane buth the real demise of this lies withing a very complexed brain
he is sometimes called genius that extrodinary word but he is just a powerful and creative voice yet to be heard

| Vocing My Opinion
listen to me daddy I have something to say it's not often we get the chance to talk because you're always away
daddy I love you and I want to spend more time you spend more time with everyone else when will you be mine
daddy i'm your son and I want be be with you but time will not hold on for us and soon I may be a father too
then it will be to late to talk over something so simple as a dinner plate for those times will come and go and together we have nothing to show
sad is how I feel right now sad because of what will be a son without his father is very damaging you see
and that will be the end result of our generation but maybe I can correct the problem when I have my own father son relation
I can teach my child the importance of family, love and happiness so that he will grow up to a strong black man and wear proudly, the word father across his chest SUPERMAN!!!!! C.ACID(C) 1997 LIBRARY OF CONGRESS
